Description

Job Summary:
A Nurse Educator position is available in Brooklyn, New York. This role involves supporting inpatient Maternal and Child Health (MCH) units, including Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Maternity Bed Units (MBU), and Pediatrics. The Nurse Educator will provide education for labor and delivery, NICU, and postpartum areas, utilizing strong clinical skills and a minimum of two years of experience in Labor & Delivery. A Masters degree in Education is required for this position.

Job Details:

Schedule: Dayshift, with 7.5 hours per shift and a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: - Associates Degree (ASN, ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program. - Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License with primary source verification from the NYS Department of Education. - AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Two (2) years of experience in Med/Surg and Labor & Delivery. - Strong and recent hands-on clinical experience including scrubbing within the past 5 years. - Experience providing education in inpatient MCH settings.
