Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician in Burlington, Vermont. This position involves providing sterile processing services in a fast-paced medical environment, with evening shifts. The role requires hands-on experience with sterilization procedures and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and operational efficiency. The assignment is scheduled to start on August 10, 2026, and is planned for 16 to 20 weeks.

• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications: CRCST (HSPA) ONLY; preferred certifications include CER, CIS, and CHL but do not exclude CRCST
  • Education and Experience: 5 years of sterile processing experience; must have a minimum of 2 travel assignments lasting at least 13 weeks each; experience in a level 1 academic medical center with 20 or more operating rooms; familiarity with service lines including robotics, general, cardiac, perioperative, cardiovascular, ENT, eyes, laparoscopic, orthopedics, neuro, dental, loaners, plastics, urology, and endoscopy; competent in decontamination, preparation, sterilization, and endoscope reprocessing
  • Additional expertise in Olympus scopes, loaner trays, DaVinci Robot Xi, and handling delicate items such as hand washing
  • Time to process specific sets: minor set under 7 minutes, dental set under 4 minutes, ortho tray 15 minutes
  • Must have reliable transportation; public transportation is not accessible in this area.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Olympus scopes and washers
  • Familiarity with loaner trays
  • Experience with DaVinci Robot Xi
  • Ability to process specific surgical sets efficiently
