Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position located in Nashville, Tennessee. The role involves providing specialized surgical nursing care in a Level 1 trauma facility, supporting a diverse patient population with a wide range of case types. The position requires excellent coordination and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of the surgical team and patients.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid NBSTA certification for operating room nurses; must have prior travel experience; minimum of 2 years OR experience in most services excluding cardiac; must be certified and have certification on file at the time of submission; experience in open heart, transplant, trauma/neuro cases preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neuro, trauma, general, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant (liver, renal, pancreas), robotic, hybrid rooms (cysto, bronch, lead extraction), ambulatory ortho, burn, hepatic-biliary.
• Additional Information: Orientation dates are set for 08/03/2026, 08/10/2026, 08/17/2026, and 08/24/2026. The candidate must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a valid exemption by the start date; no exceptions. Time off requests are limited to no more than 5-7 days, with occasional late stays in a 13-week contract as required. The position may involve floating within the OR departments but not between locations. No call responsibilities are assigned.
