Description
Job Summary:
Spokane, Washington The organization is seeking a qualified Level 1 House Supervisor to oversee inpatient unit operations within a short-term acute care facility that functions as a Level II Trauma Center. The position entails managing clinical workflows and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced hospital environment, with a focus on leadership and operational oversight.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week, start date 08/10/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand, BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications, one year of nursing experience, inpatient acute care, crisis intervention/management, facility/bed diversion, rapid response team, discharge AMA, sentinel events monitoring and reporting, post-surgery and post-procedures care, transfer to higher level of care, customer service, infection control, isolation procedures, knowledge of regulatory requirements (DPH, TJC, OSHA), supervising nursing care delivery on all units.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a charge nurse and prior supervisory roles are advantageous.
- Additional Information: Candidates may be expected to float between nearby facilities; refusal to float may lead to termination of assignment. Candidates should include responses regarding previous employment at a healthcare facility and references covering the last three years. All schedule and RTO requests must be specified upfront during submission, with a maximum of one job per submittal.
