Job Summary:
Med/Surg Orthopedic Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Missoula, Montana. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a medical surgical orthopedic floor. The position offers a comprehensive clinical experience within a well-respected healthcare organization committed to quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of accredited nursing school; Associates degree or higher; BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; 1 year of experience; Montana state nursing licensure or eligibility
- Preferred Qualifications: Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience; NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
- Additional Information: Must have experience with NG tube placement and management, Foley catheter placement and management, and chest tube maintenance. The candidate should have outgoing communication skills, be adaptable to change, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
