Job Summary:
ER (Emergency Room) registered nurse position in Appleton, Wisconsin. This role involves providing quality emergency nursing care on a night shift basis within a busy 18-bed unit. The position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Appleton, WI
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (1900-0700)
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks with possibility of extension
• Hours: Minimum of 36 hours per week, guaranteed
• Schedule: Nights (12 hours) with every other weekend rotation and potential holiday work
• Required Qualifications: WI RN certification, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); Associate Degree or Certificate; at least 2 years of ER experience and a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience; must be located within 50 miles of the facility
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; Triage experience; Epic charting within the last year
• Additional Information: All RNs are expected to wear solid black scrubs across the organization. All ThedaCare facilities within a 60-mile radius are considered for float coverage. The position involves working on a busy 18-bed emergency unit with a patient ratio of 1:4. No on-call or callback responsibilities are required.
