Description

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Floor Glendale, CA. This position involves delivering comprehensive nursing care for patients on the medical-surgical unit, following established standards and protocols. The role requires supervision and coordination of nursing staff activities, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring patient safety and quality care during night shifts.

Job Details:

Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 0 years of experience required
Preferred Qualifications: Acute care facility experience, additional certifications as applicable
Additional Information: The nurse will collect patient health data, analyze assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient progress. Responsibilities include collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing education, participating in discharge planning, and delegating tasks appropriately. Flexibility to perform various duties as assigned within the clinical setting is expected.
