Job Summary:
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Plattsburgh, New York. This assignment is an immediate need with an estimated duration of 13 to 16 weeks. The RN will be responsible for providing patient care in a specialized unit, with a focus on telehealth experience, medication management, and IV therapy. The shift schedule is primarily during night hours.

Job Details:

• Location: Plattsburgh, New York 72 Beekman Street
• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification are required; NIHSS must be completed prior to start
  • Minimum of 1 year telehealth experience
  • Experience with insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting intravenous (IV) lines, and post-cardiac catheterization care
  • Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience within the past 2 years is mandatory
  • NY State nursing license, or proof of application with applied date, required upon submission note that NY licensing typically takes 6-8 weeks

  • IVs to OFFER
  • Schedule includes work from Monday through Sunday with no block schedules for any reason
  • Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays
  • Candidates must explain all employment gaps over 90 days
  • Complete work history information is required for submission (including bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.)
