Description
Job Summary
Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) role available in Portland, Oregon, within a short-term acute care facility. This position involves floating between units, supporting the sterilization and processing of surgical instruments, and ensuring compliance with infection control standards. The role requires a dedicated professional with relevant experience and certification.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shift hours with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 1 year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician, certification with CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPAS, and EPIC charting system experience. Must hold or be eligible for OR license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Robotics experience and trauma level II experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required between units and sister facilities nearby.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment. Prior experience working at a healthcare facility and with EPIC charting is required. Candidates are expected to work three of the five major holidays and must request all schedule or RTO requests upfront, as post-approval requests may not be considered. The assignment begins on August 3, 2026, at a facility located at 4805 Ne Glisan St, Portland, OR 97213.
