Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing specialized care in a level 1 trauma center setting. The nurse will work on night shifts with a schedule of every other weekend, ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); one year of experience in a hospital setting; location in the state of Kansas or nearby; Baccalaureate or Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Progressive Care or Critical Care nursing (if applicable); experience with trauma patients in a hospital setting.
- Additional Information: This position involves working every other weekend with no call responsibilities. The unit is a fast-paced, trauma-level 1 facility requiring adaptability and strong clinical skills.
