Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is sought for a healthcare facility in Gilbert, Arizona. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for neonatal patients in a high-acuity environment. The role requires applying specialized nursing skills and knowledge to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to professional standards.
Job Details:
- Location: Gilbert, AZ
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification. Experience in a neonatal intensive care or pediatric environment is preferred. No minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and professional certification in neonatal care are preferred.
- Additional Information: This role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently. Must possess physical agility and reaction time to respond appropriately to patient care needs. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds may be required. Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking fluently in English, are essential. Proper body mechanics and compliance with safety precautions are mandatory.
