Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Patient Care Nurse for a Mother/Baby Couplet Care unit in Irving, Texas. This full-time position involves providing postpartum and newborn nursery care in a hospital setting. The nurse will deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care supporting maternal and neonatal recovery during assigned shifts.
Job Details:
- Shift Details: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/10/2026
- Number of Positions: 1
- Required Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license; 2+ years of hospital experience; documentation system experience with Meditech; ability to care for high-risk antepartum patients as well as postpartum recoveries; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Advanced Fetal Monitoring (FM); RNC-OB certification; Meditech experience
- Procedures Performed on Unit: IV placement
- Patient Experience Required: Antepartum care and newborn nursery care
- Dress Code:
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue
- Nails: Clean and healthy, no artificial nails, gel, or next gen
- Hair: Neat, clean, no extreme styles or colors, pulled back if shoulder length or longer in the lab
- Tattoos: Cover whenever possible; address individually if not feasible to cover
- Piercings: No visible piercings other than ears
Additional Information:
- Building/Floor/Suite information for the unit should be verified.
- Floating policy: As needed
- Attendance policy: The company-wide attendance policy will be followed.
- Dress code and grooming standards are strictly enforced to ensure a professional appearance.
