Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Mother/Baby Couplet Care at a healthcare facility in Irving, TX. The position involves providing postpartum and newborn nursery care, with responsibilities tailored to high-risk antepartum and postpartum patients, as well as caring for newborns. This role requires hands-on clinical expertise to support patient recovery and neonatal well-being.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Number of Positions: 1
• Required Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license, 2+ years of hospital experience, BLS certification, NRP certification, ability to care for high-risk antepartum patients as well as postpartum recoveries, experience in the newborn nursery, experience with Meditech documentation system, and ability to follow floating policies as needed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with advanced fetal monitoring (FM), RNC-OB certification, Meditech experience.
• Procedures Performed on Unit: IV placement.
• Patient Experience Required: Antepartum Care, Newborn Nursery Care.
• Dress Code:
  • Scrubs in royal blue
  • No artificial nails, gel nails, or next-gen nails; nails must be clean and healthy
  • Hair should be neat and clean; shoulder-length or longer hair must be pulled back during work shifts
  • Tattoos should be covered whenever possible; body art not feasible to cover will be addressed individually
  • Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
• Unit and Policy Guidelines:
  • Attendance policies consistent with organization standards
  • Floating policy: As needed
