Description
Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Step Down Unit is needed at a healthcare facility in Plano, Texas. This position involves providing specialized patient care on a step down unit, with a focus on recovery and stabilization of patients transitioning from intensive care. The assignment offers a night shift schedule, with responsibilities supporting patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Location: Plano, TX
- Required Qualifications: Valid Texas RN license, active license preferred; minimum 2 years of hospital experience; at least 2 years of specialty experience in a step down or telemetry unit; BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system; telemetry/Stepdown experience highly valued
- Special Skills/Experience: Must have at least 2 years of hospital and specialty experience, with current BLS and ACLS certification mandatory
- Other Information: Floating policy as needed; attendance policies in place as per organization-wide standards
