Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Step Down Unit at a medical facility located in Plano, Texas. The role involves providing high-level patient care in a step-down setting, with a focus on patients requiring continuous monitoring and specialized nursing intervention. The position is available for a 13-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026.
Job Details:
- Location: Plano, TX
- Shift: Days (7:00 AM 7:00 PM), 12-hour shifts
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Number of Positions: 1
- Required Qualifications: Active Texas RN license, BLS certification, ACLS certification, 2+ years of hospital experience, 2+ years of specialty experience in Step Down or Telemetry units
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with MEDITECH electronic documentation system, Tele/PCU/Step Down experience
- Additional Information:
- Floating policy: As needed
- Dress code: Royal blue scrubs; nail and body art policies apply
- Attendance policies: The organization-wide attendance policy will be followed
