Description

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located in Mesa, Arizona. This position involves evaluating, planning, and delivering comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The role emphasizes the importance of providing high-quality, evidence-based care to support patient recovery.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or eligible for licensure through licensure compact; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required; experience in an acute care hospital setting for at least one year within the past 12 months in the specialty area of ICU is preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing is preferred. Professional certification in critical care or ICU nursing is also advantageous.
  • Additional Information: The position involves assessing patient health needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient responses. The RN will coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately. The role requires effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members, and adherence to all regulatory standards and policies.
