Job Summary:
This is a nursing position specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) located in Hickory, North Carolina. The role involves providing patient care on a specialized unit that manages patients with stroke, neuro, telemetry, and medical conditions. The position requires working night shifts, starting on August 3, 2026, with a 12-hour shift schedule.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license, 2 years of experience, and appropriate certifications
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with stroke, neuro surgery, telemetry, or medical patients
• Additional Information: Candidate must be at least 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment. The unit supports adult and geriatric patient populations with a patient ratio of 5:1. Equipment includes electronic health record systems, with care focusing on neuro and stroke patients, as well as overflow telemetry and medical cases.
