Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at an acute care healthcare facility in Greenville, North Carolina. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery patients. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams to ensure effective patient outcomes in a high-acuity environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Greenville, North Carolina
- Shift: Days, 10-hour shifts (0700-1700 or 0900-1900), minimum 40 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Required Qualifications: RN license; NBSTSA-CST (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Certified Surgical Technician) or NCCT certification; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS); at least 1 year of relevant experience; located within an 80-mile radius of the facility
- Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- Patient Population: Cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery patients including procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repairs, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), open and endovascular aneurysm repairs, thoracotomies, minimally invasive thoracic procedures, and robotic surgeries
- Additional Information: Travel call required and weekend call required. Skilled perioperative nursing and surgical technician support are essential for the multidisciplinary surgical teams.
