Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) at a healthcare organization in Greenville, North Carolina. This position involves providing advanced patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment, with responsibilities focused on managing acute stroke, seizure, heart failure, sepsis, trauma, and diabetic emergencies. The role requires a dedicated professional capable of handling complex medical situations in a 92-bed facility.
Job Details:
- Location: Greenville, North Carolina
- Position: RN - Emergency Room (ER)
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
- Schedule: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Start Date: 08/03/2026
- Required Qualifications: NC or Compact License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI (can be obtained during credentialing or on-site), 4 or more years of experience in emergency department settings, NC or Compact License, Level I Trauma Experience, TNCC preferred, telemetry and drip experience required, ESI triage training preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Level I Trauma Experience, TNCC certification, ESI Triage training
- Bed Count: 92-bed emergency department
- Staffing Ratios: 1 RN to 4 patients
- Primary Population: Patients with neuro-medicine and neurosurgical subspecialties, including seizure management, congestive heart failure, sepsis, acute myocardial infarction, stroke, trauma, and diabetes management
- Patient Care: Focused on critical care and emergency management of complex medical conditions
