The healthcare professional position is located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, with a focus on Medical Surgical with Telemetry. This role involves working in a patient-facing clinical environment within a healthcare facility. The position offers opportunities for working varied shifts, including night shifts, with a minimum weekly commitment of 36 hours.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Alabama or a compact license (no temporary licenses accepted); associate degree in nursing; AHA (American Heart Association) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; minimum of 2 years of experience overall in the specialty, or 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license with at least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty; flexible to float to other units and hospitals as required; willing to work holidays and every other weekend; able to accept 36 or 48 hours per week; education and license requirements must be met at the time of application.
- Preferred Qualifications: Willingness to float to other units/hospitals; experience working in electronic medical record systems such as Meditech; ability to work flexible start times if compliant.
- Additional Information: This position requires working in a clinical setting with a patient-facing role. Parking is available at the facility. The position is a contractor replacement and involves working in a fixed facility location in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The start date is 08/17/2026.
