Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) nurse position available in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The role involves working in a high-acuity cardiac intensive care setting, providing specialized monitoring and treatment for adult cardiac patients. The nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associate degree in nursing, registered nurse license for the state of Alabama or a compact license (temporary licenses not accepted), at least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty or 18 months of experience working under a high level of professional license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to other units and hospitals.
- Additional Information: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. The position requires flexibility to work holidays and every other weekend. Clinical environment is a high-acuity cardiac intensive care unit that manages complex adult cardiac cases; nurses must demonstrate high levels of professional competency and work collaboratively to ensure positive outcomes.
