Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position located in Saginaw, Michigan. The RN will provide direct patient care for a variety of patients in a medical center setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and deliver interventions. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to establish patient goals and ensure quality care delivery.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. A minimum of 2 years of recent neuro Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience is required. Candidates must have recent travel work history.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a neuro PCU setting.
• Additional Information: The RN will assess patient needs regularly, deliver skilled nursing services such as medication administration and treatments, and participate in updating treatment plans. Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations, as well as hospital policies, is essential. The candidate must submit current skills checklists pertinent to the specialty, supervisory reference forms completed within two years, and active licensure documentation.
