Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a healthcare facility in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves providing critical care to patients with complex medical needs, including those with sepsis, respiratory failure, and other critical conditions. The position features a full-time schedule with day shifts and demands experienced nursing professionals capable of handling high-acuity cases.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, 2 years of ICU experience, comprehensive assessment skills, experience caring for septic patients, mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy), Epic electronic medical record system.
• Additional Information: The unit has 30 beds with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on patient acuity. Equipment includes Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, and EV 1000. Orientation includes modules, Epic training, and a day in the unit. The reporting location is the third east in the Tower building; parking is in designated employee spots.
