Job Summary:
The Operating Room (OR) Nurse position is based in Wenatchee, Washington. This role involves providing high-quality, compassionate patient care in a surgical setting, following unit standards and legal nursing guidelines. The position requires active engagement in patient assessments, care planning, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting 08/03/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Required to hold a Washington State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; required to maintain an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; adheres to organization policies and standards; functions within the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit standards; required to take call; required to float as a sitter; may float in rotation
  • Job functions: Coordinates and provides high-quality patient care in a caring and compassionate manner, utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice; develops, implements, and reassesses patients individualized plan of care; administers medications, completes nursing procedures and treatments; evaluates discharge plans; documents care, assessments, and responses; collects patient information; performs holistic assessments; determines appropriate nursing actions; educates patients and families; maintains current knowledge of workflows and evidence-based procedures; delegates care appropriately; participates in performance improvement; collaborates with the healthcare team; maintains a clean and safe environment
