Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (Med-Surg) nursing is sought for a facility in Augusta, Georgia. This role involves providing high-quality patient care on a 40-bed Med-Surg unit, with staffing composed of experienced nurses, PCTs, and a clinical nurse coordinator. The position offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to work with advanced equipment and technology, supporting a patient-centered approach to care within a well-respected healthcare organization.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS certification, 1+ years of experience in a Med-Surg setting, and effective communication skills
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Additional Information: This role requires adherence to unit-specific policies and guidelines. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical skills in EKGs, Glucometer use, and venipuncture. The candidate must be willing to float to similar units as needed. The dress code includes a royal blue uniform. The unit is known for its supportive culture and commitment to patient excellence.
