Job Summary
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico. This role involves providing specialized critical care services for adult patients in a busy hospital environment. The position offers an opportunity to work within a facility renowned for its advanced healthcare services and a commitment to patient excellence.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours.
- Required Qualifications: Active RN licensure; Certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (must be through AHA); No minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult patient care, critical care settings, and emergency response.
- Additional Information: The ICU has 14 beds with patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2. Equipment includes electronic health record systems (Cerner). The unit primarily cares for adult patients with a variety of diagnoses and treatments. The position requires float capability to other inpatient nursing units as needed.
