Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region. The role involves providing specialized patient care in a 14-bed ICU environment, supporting a diverse adult patient population with complex medical needs. This opportunity offers a chance to work in a dynamic setting within a healthcare organization known for its comprehensive services and top-rated facilities.
Job Details:
- Location: Farmington, New Mexico
- Facility Type: Level III Trauma Center with 198 beds, offering advanced medical, surgical, and rehabilitative services
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (must be through AHA). Two years of experience as a registered nurse in a critical care setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Health Record systems such as Cerner; prior ICU experience preferred.
- Additional Information: The ICU serves adult patients with patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2. Equipment includes advanced monitoring and life support devices. The unit emphasizes a team-oriented approach and requires the ability to float to other inpatient nursing units as needed.
