Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for critically ill newborns, including premature infants and those with congenital anomalies. The RN will be integral to a level IV intensive care setting, delivering comprehensive care to a diverse patient population with complex medical diagnoses.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts with 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN License; BLS (Basic Life Support); NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); STABLE certification; at least 2 years of comparable NICU experience, with a preference for level IV experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with level IV neonatal intensive care units and EPIC electronic health records systems
- Additional Information: The position requires providing specialized neonatal intensive care in a high-acuity setting. Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant NICU experience and hold current certifications. Prior employment with any healthcare facility within the Johns Hopkins health system must be disclosed, including all roles and time frames, before an offer is made.
