Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician located in Redding, California. Job Details:

• Location: Redding, California
• Shift Schedule: Evening shifts, with start times at 6:30 PM, totaling 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), COVID-19 vaccination certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technician
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine surgeries
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts (evenings) with varied start times, no call, every other weekend off
• Additional Information: Candidates will receive one shift of floor-specific orientation with a preceptor. The role involves supporting a range of case types, except transplant surgeries. The facility utilizes Cerner Surginet for charting. Hospital policy allows cancellation of up to four shifts per 13-week assignment and three shifts for shorter assignments. Certification in BLS and proof of COVID-19 vaccination are required prior to start.
