Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Little Rock, Arkansas. The organization is seeking a dedicated Emergency Room RN to provide high-quality patient care in a Level I trauma environment. The position involves working night shifts, with a focus on managing a diverse patient population in a busy emergency department setting. Experience in teaching hospitals and prior travel assignments are preferred.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS. Education: Not specified; minimum of 1 year of experience required. Location: Little Rock, Arkansas.
- Specialty: Emergency Room (ER).
- Experience: At least 1 year of ER nursing experience.
- Patient Ratios: 1:3-4, with adjustments for intensive care unit care.
- Additional information: The ED typically manages 35 beds, 7 ACE spaces, and 4 hallway spaces. In ED3 (Critical Decision Unit), there are 16 beds. Weekend work is required, specifically one in three weekends, with no call required. The department handles procedures such as ECMO placement, art lines, and uses Phillips monitors and ventilators managed by respiratory therapy. Prior travel experience and teaching hospital background are preferred.
