Job Summary:
Denver, Colorado The organization is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to oversee clinical nursing operations within a dedicated healthcare facility. This leadership role requires strategic planning, staff management, and ensuring quality patient care in a dynamic environment. The Nurse Manager will report to a Nurse Director and contribute to organizational goals related to operational efficiency, staff engagement, and clinical excellence.
Job Details:
- Location: Denver, Colorado
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution; current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; valid compact license must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of employment start; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers; leadership/supervisory experience; must complete Intermountain Healths required leadership training and development courses within one year; 2 years of clinical experience; demonstrated experience in oversight roles.
- Preferred Qualifications: Champions resource utilization to ensure nursing care is efficient, effective, safe, and compassionate; facilitates collaborative decision-making; manages departmental budgets and expenses; fosters professional environment and employee engagement; ensures staff competency through ongoing training; evaluates staff performance; maintains compliance with safety and regulatory standards; promotes community outreach and involvement; supports staff participation in external community organizations; excellent communication and problem-solving skills; clinical knowledge; resource management; patient safety focus; mentorship abilities; financial acumen.
- Additional Information: This role encompasses a range of responsibilities including overseeing clinical environments, contributing to strategic planning, managing budgets, promoting staff development and engagement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting community outreach activities. The Nurse Manager will facilitate collaborative decision-making, serve as a clinical leader, and ensure high standards of patient care and staff performance.
