Job Summary:
The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse position is based in a healthcare setting that provides specialized nursing care for patients needing intermediate level monitoring and treatment. This role involves assessing patient conditions, implementing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to promote patient well-being. The position requires the ability to perform independent nursing functions in accordance with accepted standards and regulatory guidelines.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, from 0700 to 1930, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing (preferred), current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN is responsible for patient assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, nursing care, consulting, medical function execution, delegation, supervision, and documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines. The position involves working within the scope of competency and may include being on-call during shifts.
