Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse position in Evanston, Illinois, involves providing critical care services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The role requires adapting to float assignments to various units including Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and Step-Down units as needed. This position supports working night shifts and emphasizes patient care in high-acuity situations.

Job Details:

• Location: Evanston, IL
• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Illinois active license, CPR, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, Epic experience, and the ability to pass an EKG test; 2+ years of ICU, Cardiac, or Neuro experience; Valid state license, and active certifications
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong critical care skills
• Float: Float rotation may be required, including assignments to ED, ICU, or UCU to care for medical-surgical patients at affiliated units
• Orientation: Monday; credentials due by Thursday prior to start; total orientation of 16 hours (8 hours non-billable)
