Description
Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Nurse in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This position involves providing specialized critical care services in a well-established healthcare facility. The role is suitable for clinicians with an entry-level background and offers opportunities to work within a compassionate and community-focused environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, 0 years of experience required, willingness to work in Las Cruces, NM 88011, and availability to start on 08/10/2026
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) are advantageous but not mandatory
- Additional Information: This facility is accredited by the Joint Commission, featuring a Chest Pain Center with Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), and is a certified Primary Stroke Center. The organization offers a broad spectrum of diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services on inpatient and outpatient bases. Orientation is held weekly on Mondays, and all travelers must have required certifications prior to start. Candidates considered for travel assignments must be at least 60 miles or greater from the facility. All clinical staff in the state must complete fingerprinting and background checks prior to employment, with supervised start-up permissible during the background process.
