Job Summary:
Surgical Technician/Operating Room Tech position available in Northridge, California. This role involves supporting the operating room team with various surgical procedures, including trauma, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, ENT, vascular, neuro, and robotics cases. The shift is primarily during daytime hours, with a focus on surgical assistance and maintaining sterile environments in a fast-paced facility.

Job Details:

• Location: Northridge, California, United States
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts - 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, or 10:45 PM to 7:15 AM; minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/28/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certification in sterile processing through IAHCSMM or CBSPD, BLS certification, and 2 years of experience working in sterile processing or surgical settings. Candidates should have trauma, ortho, and general surgical experience, with preferred travel experience.
• Additional Information: No floating responsibilities for technicians or RNs. Shifts are 8 hours with specific orientation requirements of 2-3 shifts on the unit. The role involves supporting diverse surgical cases, with no requirement to perform CVOR procedures unless explicitly asked. Scrubbing is preferred but not required, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience recommended.
