Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position in Evanston, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized care to micro preemies, high-acuity patients, and those requiring respiratory support or surgical intervention. The position requires expertise in Level III neonatal care and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Evanston, Illinois
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Illinois nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), 3+ years of NICU experience, Level III high-acuity neonatal care, experience with micro preemies at 44 weeks gestation, high acuity, grower feeder, patients 24 weeks and up, some on respiratory support or surgical
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting experience
• Float: Float to other NorthShore facilities may be required. Float assignments will be communicated up to 2 hours prior to the scheduled shift.
• Additional Information: This position involves caring for critically ill neonates in a Level III high-acuity NICU, with a focus on micro preemies and complex cases requiring advanced interventions. Seventy-two hours of orientation, including 12 hours of non-billable time, will be provided.
