Description

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Laramie, Wyoming. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care within the special care nursery and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans, ensuring optimal outcomes for mothers and newborns, with a focus on neonatal and obstetric expertise.

Job Details:

Shift: Rotating, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from the State of Wyoming; current Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; previous hospital experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a hospital setting, NICU, or labor and delivery department; completion of Electronic Fetal Monitoring classes within the specified timeframes; strong customer service, communication, organization, problem-solving, and confidentiality skills.
Additional Information: The position requires work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate ethical and legal accountability, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and learn new healthcare software systems.
