Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Interventional Radiology (IR) is sought for a role at a healthcare organization located in Jackson, Mississippi. This position involves circulating for Interventional Radiology procedures during daytime shifts, primarily Monday through Friday. The RN will be responsible for supporting patient care activities, ensuring adherence to clinical standards, and providing optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

Location: Jackson, MS
Specialty: Interventional Radiology (IR)
Shift Schedule: Days; Shift hours 8; Minimum hours per week 40; Shift start times based on needs (7:30, 8:00, 8:30); Shift end times based on needs (1500, 1530, 1630)
Call Requirements: Yes; one week every 3-4 weeks and on weekends during scheduled weeks
Holidays: Yes, one holiday per schedule
Required Qualifications: Certification in Nursing (RN license), Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field, minimum 4 years of clinical experience in Interventional Radiology, current licensure to practice in Mississippi, willing to work daytime shifts including call and holiday coverage
Preferred Qualifications: Experience circulating for IR procedures, familiarity with SOPs in imaging environments, BLS certification, AHA Basic Life Support certification, excellent patient communication skills
Additional Information: The role involves supporting interventional radiology teams by circulating for various procedures and ensuring patient safety during interventions. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility to work scheduled call rotations and holidays.
