Description
Job Summary:
The dialysis technician position is located in a hospital-based unit in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves providing hemodialysis treatments to pediatric and adult patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. The position requires closely collaborating with dialysis technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and effective patient care. The selected candidate will deliver age-specific nursing care, utilizing the nursing process to support patients in maintaining, regaining, and sustaining optimal health outcomes.
Job Details:
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio
- Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, and 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, one year of relevant experience, and the ability to work in a hospital-based dialysis unit
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric and adult hemodialysis treatments, strong communication and collaboration skills
- Additional Information: The role involves delivering technical nursing care that ensures patient safety and positive clinical outcomes. On-call duties are required for this position, and the nurse must demonstrate technical proficiency and effective communication to optimize patient care and operational workflows.
