Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking a Surgical Technician with expertise in the operating room for a facility located in Omaha, Nebraska. The position involves working in a dynamic surgical environment with a focus on orthopedic, neuro, and robotic cases. The role requires the ability to adapt to rotating shifts and adhere to strict clinical policies, supporting various surgical procedures across multiple specialties.

Job Details:

• Shift: Rotating shifts, including mid-shift hours from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Thursday, with rotating weekend call.
• Schedule: 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association; valid license to submit; two years of experience in a surgical environment, specifically neuro and orthopedic procedures; robotics experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with complex surgical procedures such as ventriculostomies, organ resections, and robot-assisted surgeries.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have neuro and orthopedic experience, along with robotics expertise, due to the significant number of such cases. Strict adherence to facility policies, including no artificial nails and compliance with specified clinical practices, is expected. No float outside of the operating room is permitted. Upfront request for reasonable time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved within the contract terms. The provider maintains a policy allowing cancellation of up to four shifts per 13-week assignment.
• Licensing and Certification: Valid license to submit, BLS certification from AHA.
• Charting System: EPIC.
• Trauma Level: 1.
• Care Setting: Acute surgical environment.
