Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a qualified Operating Room (OR) Specialist with a focus on Open Heart procedures in Arlington, Texas. This role involves supporting perioperative services within a busy operating room setting, providing care for trauma and orthopedic surgeries, and ensuring adherence to unit policies and standards. The position is scheduled for day shifts, with the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic surgical team.

Job Details:

• Location: Arlington, Texas
• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/14/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); 1 year of experience in operating room settings with trauma and orthopedic procedures; ability to take calls 4-6 times per month; flexibility to work weekends and on-call shifts; experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with trauma and orthopedic surgery experience; certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with trauma and ortho experience; ability to work well in a team environment with a helpful personality.
• Position Responsibilities: Support perioperative activities, assist with trauma and orthopedic procedures, adhere to unit policies, and fulfill weekend and on-call shift requirements.
• Additional Information: No special scheduling or RTOM; dress code and unit policies will be provided.
