Job Summary:
Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician in the OR (Operating Room) specialty, located in an area known for its friendly community and outdoor recreational opportunities. This position involves assisting the surgical team by preparing and maintaining sterile fields, passing instruments, and supporting various technical tasks during surgical procedures in a busy operating room environment.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Rotating shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: High School Education or GED required; Associates or Technical Degree preferred. Scrub technician experience and operating room experience or training are preferred. Certification as a Surgery Technician is preferred. Must have Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred. AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certifications are required.
• Essential Functions: Prepare for surgical cases by checking supplies and equipment, assemble operative instrumentation and sterile fields, review equipment inventory, set up and maintain sterile fields, accurately document surgical data, clean and transport equipment and patients, perform clerical and housekeeping duties, and ensure aseptic techniques are followed during procedures. Complete instrument, sponge, needle, and blade counts according to standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
• Schedule: Rotating shift with 10-hour days, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• End Date: 01/10/2027
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in OR or surgical technician roles required; no minimum experience required for other qualifications.
