Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) located in Greeley, Colorado. This position involves assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the labor and delivery department. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to support maternal and neonatal health, working collaboratively with the healthcare team in a dynamic clinical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification is required. Experience in the clinical area for which the applicant is applying is desired. Dedicated to maintaining clinical performance competencies as demonstrated through annual validations.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred. Professional certification related to Labor and Delivery is advantageous.
- Additional Information: The RN will perform clinical functions according to established policies, procedures, and professional standards. The role involves direct patient care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, patient education, and documentation. Clinical skills include monitoring fetal well-being, managing labor, and providing postpartum care. The RN may participate in quality improvement activities and work toward optimal patient outcomes.
