Description
Job Summary:
The Healthcare Professional, specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), will provide high-quality nursing care within a busy healthcare environment in Portland, Oregon. This role involves supervising nursing staff, coordinating patient care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective treatment. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient recovery and well-being in a dynamic setting.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; acute care facility experience preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQIBLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS, HS-ACLS, or RQIACLS) required
- Essential Functions: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health or situation; analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues; develops care plans with prescribed interventions; implements and coordinates care delivery; evaluates progress toward outcomes; collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe, caring environment; provides health education; participates in discharge planning; delegates responsibilities appropriately; performs other related duties as assigned
