Job Summary
Medical Surgical Urology/Renal Floor Nurse position in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This role involves providing specialized adult patient care in a clinical setting with a focus on urology, requiring at least one year of experience in the specialty. The position offers a full-time schedule with shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, starting as soon as possible.
Job Details
- Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred; minimum of 1 year of experience in medical-surgical urology/renal nursing; BLS certification from AHA required; RN license in the state of employment or a valid compact license.
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC experience preferred.
- Additional Information: The role involves working in a clinical setting with adult patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring side effects, documenting patient information, and providing education to patients and their families. The position requires adherence to applicable standards of practice and protocols.
