Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position is available in Rochester, New York. The role involves providing care on a high-volume complex care unit, managing patients with diverse diagnoses including orthopedic, long-term, and complex medical conditions. The position requires the ability to monitor telemetry, perform various clinical procedures, and work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 4 days per week, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York State license in hand, 1 year of clinical experience, proficiency with Epic electronic charting system, BLS certification, NIHSS certification, experience managing telemetry, understanding of dysrhythmia management, use of rapid response and code teams, and skills including IV start, blood product administration, central line care, and wound care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high-volume units, complex long-term patient management, and ability to float between units as needed.
• Additional Information: This position requires floating as needed; candidates should be capable of managing a patient ratio of approximately 1:6, with experience in patient diagnoses related to complex medical, orthopedic, and long-term care. Candidates must be willing to start on or after 08/11/2026.
