Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) La Plata, MD. This position involves providing emergency care in a fast-paced Emergency Department (ED) setting. The RN will handle a diverse patient population, including all age ranges, with complex diagnoses. The role requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and the ability to work nights on a 12-hour shift schedule.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN license for Maryland or a valid Compact license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certification, CPI certification, 2 years of experience, and current certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, prior community hospital, LTAC, or trauma level experience.
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Patient Population: All age groups, including infants to geriatrics
• Patient Diagnoses: All diagnoses, including trauma, stroke, cardiac events, respiratory emergencies, pediatrics, and behavioral health conditions
• Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope; no on-call requirements; weekend work required as scheduled; and compliance documents must be submitted within 5 days prior to start.
