Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse (CVICU RN) Great Falls, Montana. This opportunity involves providing specialized care in a 10-bed CVICU unit with recent open heart recovery nurse experience required. The role requires immediate post-operative open heart patient care from day one, operating within a facility that is expanding its cardiac services and managing higher acuity patients.

Location: Great Falls, Montana
Position: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse (CVICU RN)
Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Start Date: 08/24/2026
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and Degree from an accredited nursing program; current State of Montana RN Licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; 3 years of experience in Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular specialty, with recent open heart recovery nursing experience; proficiency in operating advanced medical equipment including A-lines, invasive lines, chest tubes, and ventilatory support; able to perform EKG interpretation and basic cardiac telemetry.
Preferred Qualifications: Critical care, CVICU, and open heart experience.
Additional Information: The nurse will provide comprehensive care from admission to discharge, including discharge planning, and will act as a clinical leader, supporting staff precepting. Clinical duties include managing advanced medical equipment and responding to potential deteriorations in patient condition. Cooperative teamwork with providers and healthcare staff is essential.
