Job Summary:
This Nurse Educator position is based in New York and involves providing specialized education in oncology nursing within a central office setting. The role requires travel to select healthcare facilities, supporting both inpatient and outpatient environments. It is ideal for qualified professionals with a strong clinical background in medical-surgical nursing and recent experience in oncology nurse education.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 7.5 hours per day, minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associates Degree (ASN, ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program; current BLS Certification; current Oncology Nurse Certification; current ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy Certification; MSN with Education background; New York State RN License; Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from NYS Department of Education (NYSED); at least 3 years of recent experience as Oncology Nurse Educator in inpatient and outpatient settings; two (2) years of medical-surgical experience; solid clinical background.
