Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Milwaukee, WI. This role involves providing critical patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The ER Nurse will be responsible for delivering safe, immediate care to a diverse patient population, including psychiatric and pediatric patients, while demonstrating sound clinical judgment and documentation. The position requires collaborative teamwork and effective communication to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications, education requirements, and/or degrees relevant to emergency nursing, along with at least 2 years of ER experience, including experience with critical care patients and prior travel contracts. Candidates must be experienced in caring for psychiatric and pediatric populations and demonstrate strong teamwork skills, with the ability to escalate concerns appropriately. Knowledge of EPIC electronic health records is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
• Additional Information: PLEASE READ FACILITY FIXED NOTES FOR MORE DETAILS - EOW or based on department needs; EOH rotating with regular staff; 2 years of ER experience with at least 2 prior travel contracts, experienced in caring for critical care patients, while safely maintaining sound clinical judgment and documentation. Ability to care for psychiatric and pediatric patient populations. Strong team collaboration skills, with clear & timely communication. Will escalate concerns appropriately & seek support when needed to ensure patient safety; EPIC, may need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
